Low-cost one-way flights to Reykjavik are available from eight U.S. cities

NEW YORK, July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WOW air, Iceland's premiere economy airline, announced special $99 one-way fares today from eight U.S. cities to Reykjavik in August, September and October. The discounted flights will be available from Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), Chicago (ORD), Cleveland (CLE), DallasFort Worth (DFW), St. Louis (STL), San Francisco (SFO) and Pittsburgh (PIT) to Iceland (KEF).

Fares are on sale now and will be offered on select flights between August 6, 2018 and October 26, 2018. Tickets can be purchased at

September and October are considered the start of the Northern Lights season, and these low price flights give lucky travelers the opportunity to see the natural phenomenon among other cultural activities going on in the city.

On August 7th - 11th visitors can support and participate in Reykjavik Pride and then stay to cheer on thousands of runners the next weekend on August 18th for the Reykjavik Marathon before celebrating at Reykjavik Culture Night on the 19th.  Film buffs interested in attending one of the biggest and most diverse cultural events in Iceland can come to the Reykjavik International Film Festival from September 27th - October 7th.
