The 3rd Annual Hire Our Heroes Virtual Career Fair for veterans will be held on July 25 between noon and 3 p.m. Eastern Time (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pacific Time).

"American veterans made countless sacrifices for their nation," said Dan Caporale, the president of Leesburg, Va.-based Hire Our Heroes, an organization operated by veterans for veterans. Virtual career fairs are a unique opportunity for employers and employees because they're held online and, thus, don't require participants to travel to meet each other. In a virtual career fair, an employer can communicate information about jobs via chat rooms, email, teleconferences, webcasts, and webinars. The Silver option includes a customizable booth, eight kinds of information inside the booth such as videos and job postings, the ability to receive resumes from the veterans, and up to 10 postings and four recruiters. The Gold option includes what a Silver option does but it allows companies up to 15 postings instead of 10.
