memoryBlue Announces 2018 Alumni of the Year Award Winner

Michael Daversa Tops Crowded Field to Capture Company's Highest Honor

TYSONS, Va. (PRWEB) July 24, 2018

memoryBlue today announced former employee Michael Daversa as their 2018 Alumni of the Year award winner. Daversa excelled in his role as Senior Sales Director, North America, at multi-national enterprise software giant Infor in 2017. His accomplishments while leading a team of enterprise sales professionals included booking over $5M in sales and increasing annual revenue on his team by 211%.

Daversa beat out a crowded field, including a sensational pair of finalists which included Katie Braesicke (Director of Sales Development, Ceros) and Michael Breslin (Director of Corporate Accounts, CenTrak, Inc.). The three finalists were selected from a pool of over 50 applicants and nominees for the company's annual award.

"I'm honored that memoryBlue selected me for this award," said Daversa. "No company invests its time, money and resources towards building a strong foundation for young sales professionals like memoryBlue does, and I will always look back on my tenure there as critical to my success now."

Helping select the award winner this year was a panel comprised of highly accomplished sales professionals and educators. These individuals have spent their careers furthering the sales industry as well as building bridges between talented college students and the sales profession. The panelists included Bob Perkins (Founder & Chairman, American Association for Inside Sales Professionals), Craig Rosenberg (Co-Founder & Chief Analyst, TOPO), Lauren Bailey (Founder & President, Factor 8), Mark Weber (Executive in Residence, The Catholic University of America) and Ralph Barsi (Senior Director, Global Sales Development, ServiceNow).

"Our first-class judges panel featured over a century of professional sales experience between them," said memoryBlue Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Chris Corcoran. "And they absolutely had their hands full in the final selection process. Congratulations to Michael for winning the title."

After over 16 years of work helping technology-oriented companies achieve revenue growth, hundreds of memoryBlue alumni have elevated into roles with some of high-tech's most recognizable names and hottest startups. The annual memoryBlue Alumni of the Year contest recognizes individuals who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in their high-tech sales careers.

Daversa is the fourth annual winner of the award and will officially be honored at a company-wide awards ceremony later this year. As part of the contest, he will receive a $5,000 paid vacation to the destination of his choice.
