First
Foundation Inc.
(NASDAQ:FFWM), a financial services company with
two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and
First Foundation Bank, announced today that its CEO, Scott F. Kavanaugh,
has joined the Lanakila Pacific Foundation Board of Directors to provide
strategic support and direction.

For more than 79 years, Lanakila Pacific, a Hawaii non-profit
organization, has been providing programs and services enabling
individuals with disabilities, including cognitive, physical, and
age-related challenges, to reach their goals and potential, while
building independence and promoting community inclusion through several
social enterprises. Programs include Lanakila Meals on Wheels, Lanakila
Teaching & Learning Centers along with Lanakila Kitchen, Lanakila
Maintenance Services, and Lanakila Custom Products. Serving the entire
Oahu community, Lanakila Pacific programs and services benefit over
2,000 people annually.

"I'm pleased to join the Board of Directors and look forward to working
with my fellow board members as we bring together our collective
knowledge to further the mission and vision of Lanakila Pacific serving
the Oahu community," said Kavanaugh. "Providing support to our
communities is something I'm deeply connected to, both personally and
professionally, and I welcome the opportunity to be a part of this great
organization which is at the center of helping people of all ages and
abilities thrive."

Given his experience on corporate and community boards, exemplary
leadership, and expertise in the finance and banking industries,
Kavanaugh will lend his valuable talent and knowledge to the
organization through his role as an active board member. Kavanaugh joins
Lanakila Pacific's Foundation Board which is responsible for fundraising
and managing funds to maintain perpetuity and supports Lanakila Pacific
CEO and president, Rona Fukumoto, in providing strategic insight and
direction for the organization.

"We are excited to welcome Scott Kavanaugh to the Lanakila Pacific
Foundation Board. He brings a unique perspective through his experience
and expertise in the finance and banking industries," said Rona Yagi
Fukumoto, President of Lanakila Pacific. "Our team and community will
benefit from Scott's commitment to growing the organizational and
fundraising capacities of the Foundation, which for many years has been
a hidden gem supporting the good work of Lanakila Pacific. We look
forward to increasing the impact of Lanakila Pacific's services
together."

First Foundation and Lanakila Pacific were initially connected as part
of First Foundation's ‘Supporting Our Communities' nonprofit grant
program which provides financial and strategic resources to help
strengthen organizational and fundraising capacity of select nonprofits.
Upon learning of one another's shared commitment to empower the
community, First Foundation and Lanakila Pacific sought a way to deepen
their relationship. Adding Kavanaugh to the Foundation Board is the
first step in a planned long-term partnership between the two
organizations.
