Clarizen Adds Former HP CIO Naresh Shanker to Its Board of Directors


Shanker's more than 25 years of experience includes playing a key
role in one of the IT industry's most historic transformations

, the former Chief Information Officer of HP, has joined its
board of directors. Shanker will serve as a trusted advisor to the
company as it moves into its next phase of growth.

As HP's CIO, Shanker led the company's global IT strategy and
operations. He maintained that role following the company's landmark
decision in 2014 to split into two separate entities - HP and Hewlett
Packard Enterprise (HPE). Following the split, Shanker's first order of
business was to oversee the massive effort of separating HP's global IT
infrastructure, which he was able to accomplish in just one year.

Before joining HP, Shanker was Vice President and CIO for Palm, Inc.,
where he had management responsibility for the company's IT strategy and
all of its IT assets. He was instrumental in launching webOS solutions
and services to enable the App Catalog, mobile commerce and cloud
services. Previously, he was responsible for managing Agilent
Technologies' enterprise business solutions organization, overseeing the
delivery of customer-facing and supply chain solutions worldwide.
