Citrus Valley Health Partners' Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Roger Sharma was selected for the third year in a row as one of "150 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know" by Becker's Hospital Review.

Under Roger's leadership, Citrus Valley Health Partners (CVHP) received a "Top 100" financially performing hospital award from Cleverley and Associates last year, and recent bond ratings upgrades to an A Stable by Standard & Poor's and a Baa2 Positive by Moody's.

Roger is also committed to ensuring the health system delivers highly reliable care, overseeing several patient experience initiatives that continue to result in many accolades, such as "A" ratings by Leapfrog and "Best Hospital" and "Best Place to Work" designations by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Before joining CVHP in 2011, Roger served as Senior Vice President of Financial Operations for City of Hope. Other previous appointments include executive leadership roles at Dignity Health, overseeing St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles and Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center in California.

He earned the Presidential and Key Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also completed an executive education program in health care delivery at Harvard Business School and is an inaugural fellow of Coro's Health Leadership program and a fellow of Leadership Southern California.

CVHP, a nonprofit organization, serves the nearly one million residents of the San Gabriel Valley through four locations: Inter-Community Hospital in Covina, Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora and Citrus Valley Hospice in West Covina. It is known regionally for its Primary Stroke Center, diabetes treatment and education, maternal and child health services, the technologically advanced Citrus Valley Heart Center and a robotic surgery program.
