Kennedy.TinyRippleOfHope.com is launching on June 1, 2018 and will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of RFK's presidential campaign all month. "Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a TINY RIPPLE OF HOPE, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

— Robert F. Kennedy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, 1966

This famous speech given by Robert F. Kennedy was the inspiration for this new web site and interactive blog that will blend American history and politics with theatre and film. Ginger Aña Dayla is a playwright, screenwriter, director, as well as political commentator and historian with a focus on the Kennedy family. She directed the award-winning regional premiere of "RFK" and wrote and directed the world premiere of "ROSEBURG," the first in her trilogy of plays about Bobby Kennedy and current political issues. Both of these productions were produced by New City Stage Company, the only theatre company in the world that focuses on producing new works about American history and politics. Since she is their current resident playwright, they decided to collaborate to bring more attention to all of the current news, books, documentaries, and made-for-television movies that have been released about RFK and the rest of the Kennedy family.

New City Stage's biggest successes have been with work that focused on Bobby Kennedy and they have plans for a new play they will be developing about him in the upcoming season.

The web site will provides daily updates for the month of June and posts at least twice per week thereafter. It will contain reviews and links to books, films, theatre, and other live events about the Kennedys and their political involvement, with a special focus on Robert F. Kennedy for the month of June. There will also be reviews of museums from around the country, as well as interviews with important political figures and commentators, such as Chris Matthews, RFK biographer Larry Tye, and archival videos of the Kennedy family, some never seen before.

Ms. Dayla, an award-winning actress and director, is now a celebrated playwright and screenwriter and University of Pennsylvania graduate. A former Washington page for Senators Arlen Spector and Ted Kennedy, she is also author of the highly anticipated new political farce "The Ideal Candidate," which will receive it's first full production in 2019. This summer she is on scholarship in the fine arts graduate programs at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, where she is receiving a dual MFA in Screenwriting and Playwrigthing. During the 2018-19 academic year, she will be in her third year a researcher-in-residence at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.
