Privately held mortgage company achieves record growth

Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC, a privately held mortgage company offering originations, servicing and correspondent lending, announced that it now serves more than 100,000 customers across the nation. With this growth, Gateway's servicing portfolio experienced a 32 percent year-over-year growth rate accumulating to more than $16.6 billion at the end of May. Despite lower loan origination volumes across the entire industry, the company's loan volume grew to more than $2.4 billion for the same period ending May 31, indicating a 16 percent year-over-year growth rate.

Over the past year, Gateway has opened multiple new branches, extending its footprint to include cities such as Las Vegas and Sequim, Wash. The company also became licensed in Idaho, Nevada and North Dakota.
