Kevin is a seasoned leader with diverse experience as both a senior advisor to large and middle market companies and as an operating executive at a Fortune 100 company. His background in leading and growing professional services firms is ideally suited to driving the next phases of growth at Newport.

Beyond his success in a management role, Kevin is also one of Newport's leading revenue-producing partners. As an example of his strong client advisory skills, Kevin led a highly effective multi-year engagement with Mogo Interactive, a leading digital advertising agency, including the successful sale of the agency to a strategic buyer. In 2017, Kevin was elected to the Board of Managers of Newport and has led several of its practice areas, including the Private Equity and Manufacturing teams.

Prior to joining Newport, Mr. Poole spent 12 years in "Big 5" consulting as a senior partner at Ernst & Young and Capgemini, where he led numerous industry groups, offering teams and geographic practices. At Capgemini, he was part of the North American leadership team that reversed the firm's 4-year business decline and returned the firm to strong profitability. Before moving into management consulting in 1999, Kevin spent 20 years as a senior operating executive at GE during the Jack Welch era. During that timeframe he distinguished himself on multiple occasions by successfully scaling technology-focused business units and developing a reputation for building strong leadership teams.

Mr. Poole earned his undergraduate degree in computer science from University of Miami and received an MBA in finance and marketing from Columbia Business School. He has served on multiple non-profit boards and is an active member of his local community. He and his family reside in Marin County, California.
