LEXINGTON, Ky. (PRWEB) April 27, 2018

Impact 21, a global retail consulting, analytics, and services company, is pleased to announce its co-founder and president, Lisa Stewart, will be instated as the 2018 Conexxus Hall of Fame inductee. The event will take place during the Conexxus Annual Conference to be held at the Loews Chicago O'Hare, April 29 to May 3, 2018.

Among many nominees, Stewart's years of guidance and service to the industry made her the standout candidate for this honor. The Conexxus Nomination Committee commends Stewart for exemplifying the long-term vision and dedication of the Conexxus mission, both personally and through her work with Impact21.

"Lisa has devoted so much of her career to benefitting the industry's evolution to management excellence," said Gray Taylor, executive director of Conexxus. "I have worked with Lisa for literally decades and found no other person more focused on the operational excellence of our industry."

Stewart commented, "This is such a great honor to be added to the Conexxus Hall of Fame along with so many other great minds and hardworking experts in our industry. It's a humbling experience and I am very thankful to everyone who has supported me throughout the years and helped me reach this point. I could not be where I am today without the incredible work and effort of my business partner, Lesley Saitta, and the Impact 21 team."

With over 27 years of practical and technical experience in the petroleum, convenience, and retail industries, Stewart is a perfect fit in the Conexxus Hall of Fame. As President of Impact 21, she has been focused on working with retailers, suppliers, manufacturers, and solution providers on building business infrastructure and leveraging returns on investment for corporate and store level technologies. Stewart upholds strict adherence to industry standards and is continuously seeking ways to improve current processes.

Additionally, Stewart maintains a strong focus on learning and development. She is a frequent facilitator and speaker for NACS and Conexxus on retail processes, automation, and key issues facing the Convenience Store Industry.

Stewart founded Impact 21 twenty years ago with Lesley Saitta and has served as President since its inception. Before founding Impact 21, Lisa served at Speedway SuperAmerica, LLC, a joint venture between Marathon Oil and Ashland, Inc. and prior to that at SuperAmerica Group, a division of Ashland Inc. She was responsible for corporate and store merchandise management systems and led inventory management and automation initiatives. Lisa held a variety of special assignments during the joint venture for process and systems integration. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University.

Family first is a core value for both Impact 21 and for Lisa personally. Coming from a large extended family and having three grown sons of her own, Lisa cherishes her family time. She has always had a passion for helping children. She is active in her church's children's ministry and co-founded a non-profit organization, Hopes and Dreams, to provide assistance and activities for children and adults with special needs throughout several counties in Kentucky.
