New features increase optimization for a wide variety of electronic voting circumstances

The new TownVOTE dashboard update consolidates all the app's previous features, allowing users to quickly and easily customize Meridia's interactive hardware for use in a wide variety of voting situations.

"This version adds a variety of voting rules, such as simple majority (51 percent) and two-thirds majority. TownVOTE is now optimized for voting environments ranging from small municipal councils to corporate shareholder meetings of more than 1,000 people, offering the options to vote yes, no or abstain. Projected displays can be customized to show voting as it occurs or, to avoid influencing pending votes, only after all votes have been cast and tallied. Security is a priority, with TownVOTE operating completely offline for both voting and report generation.

New features of TownVOTE allow for voting on set topics, as well as ad-hoc votes on amendments that might come up during a meeting. The app also can be customized to allow for a speaker queue, which displays a speaker's name and the order in which they will be recognized.
