This integration allows hospitals to transmit and selectively filter the secondary alarms from several of ICU Med's infusion pumps.
Clinicians can now prioritize which alarms they wish to have forwarded based upon various parameters they can choose. The core function allows a network based alarm message from an infusion pump to be forwarded to Connexall for intelligent routing based upon a customized workflow. Secondary alerting and distribution will serve to extend clinical awareness, improve response times, and reveal innovative ways to reduce alarm fatigue.
