MWWPR Appoints Gareth Davies as UK Digital Lead


Davies brings expertise in digital, PR and integrated communications

NEW YORK and LONDON, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- MWWPR, one of the world's leading independent PR agencies, today announced that it has appointed Gareth Davies as VP Digital Strategy and UK Digital Lead. Previously EMEA Digital Lead at WE Communications, Davies will oversee digital strategy for all UK and EU clients in this newly created role, continuing MWWPR's focus on delivering fully integrated and earned-worthy programs.

Davies brings a wealth of experience delivering social media strategy, content strategy, social listening, digital media buying, influencer relations, and measurement and analytics for both B2B and B2C clients. Davies' brief will be to explore and develop MWWPR's clients' digital opportunities, integrate with the agency's award-winning Digital Practice in the US and extend into new industry sectors in the UK. He will report into UK Managing Director, Paddy Herridge, and Chief Digital Strategist, Parker Ray, who is based in New York.

Prior to joining MWWPR, Davies spent close to five years at WE Communications as EMEA Digital Lead where he was responsible for leading and growing the digital business within WE Communications' EMEA offering. Whilst at WE, Davies developed a methodology that allowed the agency to effectively score and index a brand's performance within the social media 'echo chamber' using a mix of cutting-edge tools and social analytics. Prior to that, Davies spent five years as Head of Digital at MSL London where he was hired to set up and establish its digital practice.
