Jennifer S. Zucker, a shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been recently selected for two board positions.

Zucker has been selected as a member of DirectWomen's 2018 Board Institute class. According to DirectWomen's press release, the class of 18 women attorneys is comprised of general counsel of Fortune 500 companies, partners at top law firms, and leading lawyers from government and academia. DirectWomen's mission is to increase gender diversity on the boards of public companies. The Board Institute assists women attorneys in focusing on analytical and problem-solving skills in order to better position themselves to serve on a board. Announced in January, this is DirectWomen's 10th Board Institute. Greenberg Traurig Co-President, Hilarie Bass, was a member of DirectWomen's 2012 Board Institute Class.

SRC Energy, Inc. also recently announced that Zucker has been appointed an independent director on the company's board of directors. SRC Energy is a domestic oil and natural gas exploration and production company based out of Denver, Colorado. The appointment was announced in late January.

"I look forward to participating in DirectWomen's initiative to position more women to serve on boards. Diversity on boards offers a breadth of perspective necessary in today's market," said Zucker. "I am equally excited to work with the board of SRC Energy, Inc. and to assist with making strategic decisions in the best interest of the company and its stockholders."

Located in Washington, D.C., Zucker focuses her practice on representing clients on all aspects of government contracts matters, including bid protests, contract disputes and claims, government audits and investigations, suspension and debarment proceedings, False Claims Act actions, mergers and acquisitions, teaming agreements and subcontracts, and federal marketplace opportunities. She also assists companies seeking to do classified national security work for the U.S. government, including mitigating foreign ownership and control, guiding companies and individuals through the security clearance process, and litigating classified bid protests and claims.
