Swiss public school curriculum requests that all schools implement the Lehrplan21 program by 2021, integrating technology into every subject in schools across the country. The Davos school system will use the donation from Salesforce.org to purchase new devices to equip educators and prepare students with technology skills.

Salesforce.org and the community of Davos formed a partnership at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in 2015 to accelerate coding skills development for local students. As part of the partnership, Salesforce created Davos Codes, a year-round program that teaches local students the power that technology can bring when used for social good. Through the program, Salesforce employees have volunteered more than 500 hours in the local Davos community over the past three years.

Teaching Technology Through Davos Codes
Salesforce.org gives back to the Davos community by providing technology education, resources and support to the Davos Middle School to ensure every child has the opportunity to access technology learning fit for the 21st century.

At the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting, Salesforce.org will showcase its partnership with the Davos community during Davos Codes on Wednesday, January 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CET in the Salesforce Annex. Students will learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), get hands-on coding experience and learn how to apply the SDGs through experiments on the local environment.
