Life-size chocolate holiday train now on display at downtown Toronto hotel

(PRWEB) December 06, 2017

All aboard! The Ritz-Carlton Express has arrived. Now on display in the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto boys and girls of all ages can climb inside for their chance to experience one of the city's largest holiday displays.

Made with 700 pounds of chocolate and taking over 150 hours to construct, the life-size locomotive stands tall at 12x5x8 feet and comes complete with its own ‘steam'. With edible gold accents adorning the outside, the train also features a complimentary candy station and will be open to the public throughout the month of December.

But, the sweet structure isn't the only the thing the luxury downtown hotel has planned this festive season. Inspired by the beloved holiday classic, Nutcracker Tea returns to DEQ Lounge every weekend in December. Featuring themed décor and a delectable assortment of goodies, the little ones will enjoy a choice of white or hot chocolate, while adult guests can savour sparkling wine and a selection of handcrafted teas by Master Tea sommelier, Hoda Paripoush.

For a little pre-holiday pampering, Spa My Blend by Clarins has created a variety of seasonal treatments for guests who've been both naughty and nice. Choose from a selection of ‘Spa'liday packages including the Jingle ‘Belle', Snowman or Holiday Glow.

Or, gather with friends and family for the handcrafted Italian flavours of signature restaurant, TOCA, which will offer festive menus throughout Christmas and New Years.

For a complete list of holiday offerings, visit The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto Holiday Guide or call 416-585-2500.
