Guess & Co. Corporation Appoints Jon Shelton As Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors

Durham, North Carolina, Dec. 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Guess & Co. Corporation a global diversified development and infrastructure company based in Durham, North Carolina, is pleased to announce that Jon Shelton has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. Jon Shelton retired from the United States Secret Service as a Special Agent after almost 21 years of service. During his tenure with the United States Secret Service, Mr. Shelton protected many U.S. Presidents and investigated numerous financial crimes. He has had a lengthy and successful career in law enforcement. Mr. Shelton earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University. Mr. Shelton joined Guess & Co. Corporation initially as Special Adviser. He was appointed to the Board of Directors to fill the vacancy when Michelle Stewart, a former Director, stepped down for personal reasons. Mr. Shelton holds an active Top Secret Security/SCI Clearance with the U.S. Government. As Deputy Chairman, Mr. Shelton works with the Chairman to set Board goals and objectives along with overall corporate strategy. Mr. Shelton is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Guess & Co. Corporation.
