Slumber Releases Pre-Sales for High-Quality Egyptian Cotton Sheets at a Fraction of Department Store Prices

Slumber Sheets recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for affordable luxury sheets with a funding goal of $50,000. Slumber eliminates the process of searching for the perfect set of sheets that are both high quality and affordable. Every Slumber Sheets set is under $100 and ships free to the U.S.

"Buying nice sheets should be simple and affordable, but up until now, it hasn't been," said Slumber founders. "When searching for the best sheets we could find, we were overwhelmed with all of the options-- Does the weave type matter? What makes sheets breathable? What about thread count? The best of the best was too expensive, so we set out to create the most breathable, comfortable sheets and kill the markups by shipping direct to consumer."

Slumber Sheets are made of single ply percale weave and 100% Extra Long Staple Egyptian Cotton. Single ply promotes quality, durability and softness. The percale weave makes Slumber Sheets breathable, unlike other sheets that trap body heat, which results in sweaty, uncomfortable nights. Any cotton grown in Egypt can be called Egyptian cotton, but it can also refer to varieties that are genetically close to Egyptian Cotton but produced elsewhere. Slumber's Extra Long Staple cotton is produced in Egypt where the climate allows it to grow the way it does.

Each set of Slumber Sheets also includes an exclusive lavender scented sleep mist made of natural ingredients, which kills bacteria that builds on pillows and sheets. Not only does it improve sleep, but also health.

Slumber is currently offering two different sets of sheets on Kickstarter. One standard set includes one flat sheet, and one fitted sheet, two pillowcases and a sleep mist. A Deluxe set includes a duvet cover and two pillow shams in addition to what is offered in the standard set. Both sets are currently available in white and the Slumber team plans to offer more color options at the end of the campaign. Both sets are available in twin, full, queen and king sizes.
