"The Tan House" is the creation of published author, Ina Acton, mother, grandmother, and business woman. She loves her two children, son-in-law, two grandsons, granddaughter, great-grandson, and great-granddaughter, sister, brothers, and her many friends. She also loves walks on the beach, reading good books, surprising people with gifts, eating lunch out, and studying the Bible.

Ina shares, ‘My doctor just walked out of my hospital room, after telling me that he hoped I enjoyed reading or had a hobby, because I was going to be in the hospital for quite some time. I turned toward the window to think about what he said, and my eyes fell upon a tan house, and a story formed in my mind. I grabbed a notebook and wrote ‘The Tan House' with my great-grandson in mind; but as I shared ‘The Tan House' with others, they kept telling me I should publish this book.'"

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Ina Acton's new book reminds children that they should be happy with the things they have and not what they want.

There once was a Tan House. The Tan House lived beside the White House, the Green House, and the Yellow House. One day, they learn the Tan House wants to move. The friends do not want the Tan House to move away, but they want him to be happy. With the help of the Queen House and the Bible, the Tan House will go from being a sad house to a happy house.
