GlobalShop Partners with The Magnificent Mile® Association on 'Windows of The Magnificent Mile' Program

The GlobalShop trade show and conference for retail design is pleased to
announce its partnership with The Magnificent Mile® Association on the ‘Windows
of The Magnificent Mile'
program during GlobalShop, March 27 – 29,
2018. The program features window displays from 15-20 retailer members
of the Association with materials provided by GlobalShop exhibitors. The
windows displays will be unveiled the morning of the first day of the
show and will remain on display through the month of April.

The ‘Windows of The Magnificent Mile' program is not only a
celebration of the retail design industry, but also a nationally
marketed consumer campaign to pique the interest of shoppers and drive
foot traffic to brick and mortar stores.

"GlobalShop looks forward to partnering with The Magnificent Mile®
Association in 2018," said GlobalShop Founder and Show Director, Doug
Hope. Our previous experience working with the merchants and the
Association created spectacular results, with some two dozen merchants
doing a dramatic reveal the opening day of GlobalShop. The event
featured significant branding up and down the street through banners as
well as on the store windows themselves, drawing attention to the
retailers' products and services. During the week of GlobalShop, the
Association reported a 12% year-over-year increase in retail sales,
indicating strong shopper interest and pull-through from the street-side

"The Magnificent Mile is a unique destination, and we are proud to
partner with GlobalShop to feature our flagship retail experience on a
national level," said John Chikow, president & CEO of The Magnificent
Mile® Association. "Windows of The Magnificent Mile provides
visitors a rare look at the latest and greatest in retail merchandising
and technology, which is an important nod to the world-class conventions
we host in Chicago year-round."

The current list of participating retailers includes: Bulgari,
Bloomingdale's Medinah Home Store, Charming Charlie, Chicago
Contemporary Museum of Art Store, Fannie May Chocolates, Hanig's
Footwear, I Love Chicago, Neiman Marcus Last Call Studio, Overland
Sheepskin, The Goldsmith Ltd and Saks Fifth Avenue. Supplier partners
and additional retailers to be confirmed by end of December.
