Bob Malone has had more than his share of "rock star moments"; headlining all over the world as part of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty's red hot band. Barnstorming across the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia performing songs from his many solo albums for loyal fans worldwide. Laying down tracks with the legendary Bob Seger. Sharing the stage with everyone from Jimmy Buffett to Michael J. Fox. But nothing prepared him for the day he hung out with and played for a Beatle.

"I get a phone call to go to an address in Los Angeles. I drive up the long driveway, ring the doorbell, go into the studio…and it's Ringo (expletive) Starr!" says Malone. "When it was time to play, I don't think my hands have ever sweated so much on a keyboard in my life."

Malone spent a magical studio session with Ringo Starr playing on the reboot of the track "Back Off Boogaloo" for Starr's new album GIVE MORE LOVE. "Ringo couldn't have been nicer, but man, having him watch me lay down the track…talk about intimidation!" Bob says he's in great company on the album; "When Ringo calls, everyone answers!"

Recorded at Ringo's home studio in Los Angeles, GIVE MORE LOVE has ten brand new Ringo songs and features collaborations with a few other names you might recognize including Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Edgar Winter, Toto's Steve Lukather, Peter Frampton, the Heartbreaker's Benmont Tench, Timothy B. Schmit from the Eagles, Richard Page of Mister Mister, Dave Stewart from Eurhythmics, Don Was and more. The ten new songs were co-written by Ringo and Richard Marx, Lukather, Gary Nicholson, Dave Stewart, Glen Ballard and Gary Burr.

GIVE MORE LOVE also has four newly recorded bonus tracks including a version of Ringo's classic "Back Off Boogaloo" that features Bob Malone pounding the piano, while Ringo's brother-in-law Joe Walsh lays down the iconic guitar lick. This new version of "Back Off Booglaloo" is based on the original recording Ringo made when he wrote the song. He recently discovered the tape when he moved houses. The other bonus tracks are new versions of beloved Ringo Starr classics "Photograph", "Don't Pass Me By" and "You Can't Fight Lightning".
