What You Can Do To Help Those Affected

DENVER (PRWEB) October 13, 2017

Napa, Sonoma and Santa Rosa County have been ravaged by deadly wildfires spreading throughout Northern California, resulting in the loss of lives and devastation to more than 2,000 businesses and 70,000 acres of land.

Amercanex is committed to donating our resources and funds to help our friends and colleagues in Northern California, whose homes and livelihoods have been affected by the fires.

"Our hearts goes out to those dispossessed by the fires," says Amercanex CEO Steve Janjic. "We also want to thank all the brave first responders and volunteers working tirelessly to help as many families, homes and businesses as possible."

Currently, firefighters are still working to contain the fires, which have been called the deadliest in more than 14 years. If you are interested in helping, please consider donating to the following organizations:

CalGrowers Wildfire Relief Fund
Visit http://www.youcaring.com and search CalGrowers Wildfire Relief Fund to help California cannabis growers whose farms were lost or damaged in the fires. Cannabis farmers don't qualify for crop insurance, so many lost all that they have. Please consider donating to help those in the cannabis community.

The Soil King Garden Center is accepting cash and credit card donations, medical supplies, clothes and other necessities for victims of the forest fires. You can visit their website here, http://www.thesoilking.com or give them a call at 707.894.3500 to arrange drop off of any items. Soil King says all donations will receive a receipt of their donations.

The California Professional Firefighters' Fire Foundation supports those fighting the deadly Northern California fires as well as helping families of fallen firefighters. To donate to this fund, visit http://www.cafirefoundation.org.

"Thank you for all of your help and generosity as we try to give back in some way to those affected by these deadly and devastating fires, especially fellow members of the cannabis community," says Janjic. "With your help, we will work to save and rebuild Northern California."
