As a member of Diplomat's executive leadership team, Peters will oversee payor and business development strategies, as well as sales and pharma account management.

"Continuing our focus on solutions and services for payors, we have selected a seasoned health care leader with more than 25 years of experience," said Joel Saban, Diplomat president. "Robyn has played pivotal roles in driving business growth and developing relationships across the entire supply chain."

Peters' experience spans leadership roles in market access, sales, marketing, pricing, and business development. She joins Diplomat after serving as vice president of market access and reimbursement for Biogen, Inc. Before Biogen, Peters served as group vice president of managed market sales and account management for Walgreens. She oversaw retail, specialty pharmacy, and health care sales and account management functions across managed care, health systems, and employer and government segments. Peters also held the role of vice president of U.S. payers and national accounts, corporate and government customers at Pfizer, Inc. There, she led numerous initiatives aimed at driving innovation and growth with payor customers. Her roles have included commercial leadership positions at Boehringer Ingelheim, Schering-Plough Corporation, and MediFit Corporate Services.

Peters earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. She serves on leadership councils for the school and as a mentor for its pharmacy program. Peters is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation.
