Month of Caring #fortivecares

Fortive Corporation ("Fortive") (NYSE:FTV), a diversified industrial
growth company, is celebrating its first Month of Caring by empowering
its employees around the world to give back to the communities in which
they work and live. During the month of September, Fortive invited every
team member across 25 Operating Companies to dedicate a day to community
service. In addition to an estimated 150,000 volunteer hours donated by
the team, Fortive marked the event with a combined pledge of $250,000 to
the American Red Cross and the International Federation of Red Cross and
Red Crescent Societies in honor of their employees, and their families
and friends, who were affected by the recent natural disasters around
the world.

James A. Lico, President and Chief and Executive Officer, said, "At
Fortive, we have so much to be thankful for, and sharing our talents and
resources with our global communities helps us to find meaning in our
lives at work. This commitment to our communities has always been an
important part of our culture, so I was excited to join our team in our
first annual Month of Caring."

Employees contributed through over 200 organized, team-coordinated
events in over 90 global locations, designed to support causes including
homelessness, hunger, the environment and Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math (STEM) education.

Lico added, "We are proud to serve our communities but also know that we
are the real winners here. Volunteering brings people together, helping
to build and support our extraordinary teams around the world."
