Senior Leadership from Microsoft, BAE Systems, IntelliDyne, CALIBRE Systems and The Ambit Group Join NVTC Board

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) announced today the appointment of five new members to the NVTC Board of Directors. The new NVTC Board members are:

Tony Crescenzo, CEO, IntelliDyne

Tony Crescenzo is CEO of IntelliDyne, a consulting firm named among The Washington Post's "Best Places to Work," that enables better business performance through innovative technology solutions. Previously, Crescenzo co-founded and was CEO of Analysis Frameworks and served in senior executive positions at Ilumitek, Inline Software, IMTS, Initiate Systems and Software AG. Crescenzo is Co-Chair of the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative. Crescenzo currently serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Semper Fi Fund.

Kim Hayes, Co-Founder and CEO, The Ambit Group

Kim Hayes is Co-Founder and CEO of The Ambit Group. Under Hayes' leadership, The Ambit Group has been named a Top Government Technology Contractor by Washington Business Journal and a Top Workplace by The Washington Post. Ambit specializes in the transformation, modernization and operations of complex federal programs in the regulatory and homeland defense environments. Ambit has enabled over $116 million in cost recovery in the federal programs they support. Prior to The Ambit Group, Hayes served in the U.S. Army Signals Corps.

Mark Keeler, Acting President, Intelligence & Security Sector, BAE Systems

Mark Keeler is Acting President of BAE Systems' Intelligence & Security (I&S) sector, comprised of 7,000 employees across the United States and abroad with annual revenue of $1.7 billion. I&S delivers a broad range of services including IT, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, systems integration and operations, and maintenance. Previously, Keeler led the Integrated Electronics & Warfare Systems business area within I&S.

Joe Martore, President and CEO, CALIBRE Systems

Joe Martore is President and CEO at CALIBRE Systems, a management consulting and IT solutions provider. CALIBRE has been twice named Greater Washington GovCon Awards Government Contractor of the Year ($75M - $300M category). CALIBRE has also been named a Top Workplace by Fortune Magazine, Virginia Business Magazine and The Washington Post. Martore joined CALIBRE in 2004 as part of its acquisition of SMI, which he co-founded, and where he served as President and CEO.

Gail Thomas, Vice President, U.S. Public Sector, Microsoft

Gail Thomas is Vice President of U.S. Public Sector at Microsoft, leading a team of sales professionals serving federal, state and local governments, and education customers across the United States. Previously, Thomas spent five years as Regional Vice President, Microsoft U.S. West Region, and led Microsoft's U.S. State and Local Government Team for six years.
