NABISCO, The Maker Of OREO, RITZ And Chips Ahoy!, Kicks Off Multi-Year Team USA Sponsorship With The Olympic Winter Games 2018


The Mondelēz International brands with Team USA hopefuls Ted Ligety and Chloe Kim to celebrate the unique and special Can't Miss Moments that bring us together during the Games.

EAST HANOVER, N.J., Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NABISCO, the maker of some of America's favorite snacks including OREO, RITZ and Chips Ahoy!, is joining on as the Official Cookie and Cracker Sponsor of Team USA as the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 nears. While the country's top athletes will be competing half way across the world, NABISCO's iconic brands will help Team USA spark joy back home by celebrating the unique and special "Can't Miss Moments" that bring us together.

As part of the sponsorship, NABISCO is teaming up with two renowned athletes and 2018 Team USA hopefuls, veteran alpine skier and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Ted Ligety, and snowboarder Chloe Kim, trying for her first U.S. Olympic run. These athletes each understand the importance of celebrating moments big and small with their friends and family, and will share their own, relatable "Can't Miss Moments" leading up to the Games.

Starting January 21, all three NABISCO brands will feature Team USA-themed packaging, with the iconic OREO cookies embossed with Team USA-themed emblems for a limited time.

Adding to the celebration, NABISCO will host a #BitetoWinSweepstakes with chances for fans to win big by mirroring their favorite athletes. Just as U.S. Olympians bite into their hard-earned medals during their podium medal ceremonies, fans are invited to take photos of themselves biting into their favorite OREO, RITZ or Chips Ahoy! products and share on social media for a chance to win a $10,000 entertainment package or hundreds of other prizes awarded each day of the Olympic Winter Games1
