Corporate and Securities Law Veteran Laura Kalesnik Joins Dorsey in Dallas

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Laura Kalesnik has joined the Firm's Corporate Group in Dallas as a Partner.

Ms. Kalesnik works on a variety of corporate, securities, M&A, governance and general business matters. She also has experience in financial services. Her experience includes representing public and private companies in accessing capital, effecting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and reorganizations. In addition, she has counseled boards of directors on corporate governance, fiduciary duties and advised companies with respect to their public reporting and disclosure obligations.

Before joining Dorsey, Ms. Kalesnik was most recently a partner in the Dallas office of Norton Rose Fulbright. She was previously a partner of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, which merged with Norton Rose in 2013.

Ms. Kalesnik has a B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma, an M.B.A. degree from American Graduate School of International Management and a J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University. She has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters and as a Texas Top Rated Lawyer by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.
