Media are invited to CP Canada 150 Train kickoff launch

CALGARY, July 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Canadian Pacific (CP) is proud to announce that CP's Canada 150 train and cross-country block party is ready to go.

Media are invited to a launch event with federal and provincial government officials that will feature a First Nations blessing of the train and performances from the bands that will be travelling on the train.

Immediately following the event, the train will depart for Port Moody, B.C., for its first official show on July 28.

What: Kickoff event for CP Canada 150 Train
When: July 25, 2017 – 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (media should arrive 15-30 minutes before)
Where: CP headquarters 7550 Ogden Dale Road SE, north parking lot behind Building 1 (signage to site will be posted)
