RACINE, Wis., July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Modine Manufacturing Company MOD, a diversified global leader in thermal management technology and solutions, recently hosted A Breath of Innovation, a summit aimed at educating participants about new European regulations and the HVAC solutions available to meet increasing demands.

Modine Hosts A Breath Of Innovation

With new European regulations aimed at saving energy and barring polluting refrigerants, the HVAC components market has been undergoing significant change.  Now, more than ever, companies that operate in the refrigeration sector are looking for reliable partners that have a complete view of market policies and trends, and are capable of transforming restrictions and opportunities into tangible benefits for practical applications.

In order to provide its valued partners with desired solutions, Modine's Commercial and Industrial Solutions (CIS) business hosted A Breath of Innovation, a seminar dedicated to commercial coolers at Filanda Motta in Campocroce, Italy.

A Breath of Innovation offered presentations by Laura Puntin, Head of CIS EMEA; Andrea Fumi, Sales & Marketing Director EMEA; Umberto Di Barbora, Global Product Manager Commercial Coolers; Alessandro Fumi, General Manager Coatings EMEA; and Dennis Appel, Vice President, Commercial and Industrial Solutions.  The event covered a variety of topics, including market trends, global regulations and new solutions in a changing industry.

During the event, Modine showcased its new ECO™ Heat Transfer Coolers. The dedicated spaces at the Filanda Motta, a former textile mill, were the perfect setting to display a selection of its products.  The coolers were all equipped with the latest options, ranging from ElectroFin® coating to adiabatic panels and control devices to the latest generation of fan motors.

Central to this event was the networking between attendees and Modine's specialists.  Experts from all areas of the company were available to lead discussions focused on particular issues of interest, specifically new refrigerants, energy efficiency, and appropriate HVAC solutions. Over 100 people attended, including customers and project engineers, from across the EMEA region.

Modine also introduced the updated version of its Scelte software for the selection of commercial coolers. Guests had the opportunity get a preview under the guidance of technical experts Michele Bivi, R&D Manager for Coils & Refrigeration Coolers, and Paolo Gambellini, IT Senior Specialist.

A Breath of Innovation generated positive feedback, a sign that the Modine team was able to hit the mark and generate "a breath of innovation" that will propel the company and its partners towards a positive future.  To view a portion of the event: https://youtu.be/QD7d1NG1DhM.
