Tel Aviv, Israel / New York, NY (PRWEB) May 15, 2017

CodeMonkey, the world's leading game-based learning platform for teaching real coding to K-8 students, announces the winning teams of Code Rush, a new nationwide coding competition created for elementary and middle school students in the U.S. Code Rush winners unlocked a progressive series of 140 coding challenges through collaborative play and problem-solving to learn to read and write in real programming languages.

Over the past month, thousands of students, hundreds of teams and over 35 states participated in Code Rush. CodeMonkey's national coding competition took place on the CodeMonkey online platform, allowing teams to compete against each other while learning and writing code using the programming language CoffeeScript. National leaderboards were published daily throughout the month of April.
