American Women in Public Relations Announces Launch of New York City Chapter

Launch Celebration to be held June 9, 2017 following Global PR Summit New York

NEW YORK CITY, May 23, 2017 /CNW/ - The Organization of American Women in Public Relations (Women in PR USA) is pleased to announce the New York City Chapter launch celebration will be held on June 9, 2017 at Novotel Times Square, following Global PR Summit New York by P World.

Organized by a team of experts in public relations, the event will look at What's Next for Women in the USA's PR Industry, discuss misconceptions and redefine perceptions for our field.

Speakers Include: Deirdre Breakenridge, CEO of Pure Performance Communications; Rebekah Iliff, Chief Strategy Officer, AirPR; Shannon Furey, Public Relations Director at M studio; Natasha Koifman, President, NKPR Inc.

The organization was developed to enable groups of women leaders in public relations to come together to share ideas, contacts and experiences, and to advocate for major issues directly affecting women working in the PR industry today.
