WholeHealth Medical Group will be supplying detox and recovery IV treatments to boost energy, reduce altitude sickness, and hangovers at Sundance Film Festival

Park City, Utah (PRWEB) January 19, 2017

WholeHealth is announcing their participation in the Sundance Film Festival in a medical capacity this year. Drs. Alexander Paziotopoulos, Andrew Petersen and Trish Henrie-Barrus will be present Saturday and Sunday in the EcoLuxe Lounge to provide a condensed version of the clinic's leading recovery program.

"We know it's easy to get carried away when you're having fun," says Dr. Trish Henrie-Barrus, who helped design the recovery treatment program available at WholeHealth. "Sundance is that once a year party, and everyone just wants to socialize and have a good time. However, it's easy to get dehydrated and hungover even with the best of intentions. Having to leave the Festival because you suddenly feel terrible can ruin the experience."

The answer to too much partying can be as simple as an IV treatment which only takes about half an hour and can be performed on site. The amino acid drip helps speed the detox process, gently and rapidly providing amino acids, nutrients, and co-factors to restore stable brain chemistry and effectively neutralize hangovers.

"This is a single step version of the full recovery program we offer at WholeHealth," says Dr. Paziotopoulos. "We have a 5, 10, or 30 day IV therapy detox which we combine with a health optimization plan that is tailored to the client. We create a 3 month education and intensive therapy focused on addictive thinking and positive psychology, and a 9 month follow up schedule with personalized modules to maximize the recovery process, and provide full support for overall mental and physical health optimization."

WholeHealth created their unique recovery program in response to seeing so many patients who have struggled with addiction and relapses for decades. "The common vernacular is ‘once an addict, always an addict,'" says Dr. Henrie-Barrus. "We don't see it that way – we see each patient as an individual with specific physiological and psychological needs that must be addressed in order for them to recover for good."

For their Sundance appearance, the team has miniaturized the program to treat on-the-spot patients suffering from substance or alcohol use, dehydration, or altitude sickness leading to fatigue, exhaustion, jitters, headaches, blood sugar or blood pressure irregularities, and more.

"We're calling our station "WholeHealth Detox Bar", but it's more than that," says Dr. Paziotopoulos. "We're providing medical care that strikes right to the core of the issue – no aspirin, no hair of the dog, just replenishment of the natural building blocks the brain and body need in order to make you feel better faster."

The WholeHealth Detox Bar will be at EcoLuxe Lounge on Saturday and Sunday January 21st and 22nd. Patients will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
