JetBlue Airways Reports December Traffic

JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for December 2016. Traffic in December increased 4.5 percent from December 2015, on a capacity increase of 3.1 percent.

Load factor for December 2016 was 84.1 percent, an increase of 1.1 points from December 2015. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.0 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 71.3 percent. JetBlue's preliminary revenue per available seat mile for the month of December decreased approximately one and a half percent year over year.
