Exploring the latest breakthroughs in science and technology.

Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) July 15, 2016

DMG Productions announces the upcoming airing of Innovations with Ed Begley, Jr., scheduled to broadcast on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 7:30aET/7:30aPT via Discovery Channel.

Leading in, the show will focus on the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LJI). Audiences will learn about LJI's research and dedication to increasing knowledge and improving human health through studies of the immune system. It will also inform on LJI's essential purpose to expand the understanding of how the immune system works and to discover the causes of immune system disorders.

The show will also explore Quantcast, a global leader in applying the power of Big Data to digital and mobile advertising, more famously known for its sophisticated data-intelligence platforms. Spectators will see how Quantcast uses data and machine learning to solve the biggest challenges in marketing.

Traveling to Curitiba, Brazil, Innovations uncovers the latest breakthroughs in cell regeneration therapies as it goes behind the scenes to learn about Tissue Regenix's dCell® technology– a process that removes the cells from human tissue to provide a matrix that can be implanted into the body. This unique product strips any DNA materials out of donor tissues, while crucially leaving intact the a-cellular scaffold, on which the patients own DNA cells can regenerate, to create like-for-like tissue

Finally, the show will educate audiences about Orphazyme ApS, founded in June 2009 with the aim of developing heat shock protein based therapy for the treatment of diseases caused by defects in the function and/or metabolism of proteins. Spectators will be enlightened about the company's development programs, which target diseases that are associated with aberrations in the protein homeostasis, such as characterized by loss-of-function of one or more proteins or the formation of protein-containing aggregates.

"Today, medical discoveries are being made every second. We are excited to be a part in watching this exploration unravel," said Michele Nehls, Producer for the Innovations TV series. "We look forward to sharing these breakthroughs with our audience."
