Remote Medical International adds new virtual and physical classroom hybrid model to better accommodate student schedules and budgets, while allowing them to pursue additional medical certifications not previously available to RMI students.

SEATTLE, WA (PRWEB) March 28, 2016

A global leader in the provision of remote medical training and medical support services, Remote Medical International® (RMI) is significantly expanding its training offering and will now provide some courses in a hybrid virtual and traditional classroom format. In addition to the combination online and onsite curriculum for its Remote Emergency Medical Technician (REMT) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) programs, RMI is now also able to provide Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training in the hybrid format. RMI acquired the hybrid courses from Northern Cairn LLC, a Michigan-based company that specialized in quality wilderness medical training.

"The acquisition of Northern Cairn's hybrid training courses is a major step in making remote medical training more accessible to our students around the world." said Wayne Wager, CEO of Remote Medical International. "We can better accommodate student schedules and be more cost effective for our clients. The addition of these courses fits into our rapid growth strategy and we are delighted to offer a more robust line of courses with the addition of hybrid REMT, AEMT, WFR, and EMR training."

Remote Medical International has provided remote and wilderness medical training to over 15,000 students worldwide and their training courses range from basic Wilderness First Aid to an advanced Remote Medicine for the Advanced Provider course for medical professionals. RMI certifications are accredited, respected, and accepted by organizations such as the US Department of Defense, Department of State, and a wide range of military, commercial, and non-governmental organizations.

The onsite portion of the hybrid courses will continue to initially be taught in Petoskey, Michigan, with courses in Washington State to follow by the end of the year. All of the programs are available immediately to RMI's clients seeking private courses at their location.
