Slate Office REIT Announces Distribution for the Month of March 2016 and Amendment to Its Distribution Reinvestment Plan
TORONTO, ON --(Marketwired - March 15, 2016) - Slate Office REIT (TSX: SOT.UN) (the "REIT"), a leading owner of office properties in Canada, announced today that the Board of Trustees has declared a distribution for the month of March 2016 of C$0.0625 per trust unit of the REIT.
The distribution will be payable on April 15, 2016 to unitholders of record as of the close of business on March 31, 2016.
Amendment to Distribution Reinvestment Plan
Eligible unitholders (which includes holders of Class B limited partnership units that are exchangeable into trust units of the REIT) that elect to participate in the Distribution Reinvestment Plan (the "DRIP") will have their cash distributions used to purchase trust units of the REIT (the "Units").
The REIT announced today that the discount at which Units are issued pursuant to the REIT's DRIP will be decreased from 3% to 0%, to take effect with the March 2016 distribution, payable on April 15, 2016 to Unitholders of record as of March 31, 2016.
