Toyota City, Japan, Oct 26, 2015 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd., for September 2015 and for April to September 2015.

Toyota
- Second consecutive month of increase

Sales in Japan

Toyota
- First decrease in two months
- Lexus vehicle sales totaled 4,536 units (2.9 percent decrease)
- Minivehicle sales totaled 2,217 units (9.0 percent decrease)
- 43.3 percent share of market excluding minivehicles (0.7 percentage point increase)
- 28.1 percent share of market including minivehicles (1.7 percentage point increase)

Daihatsu
- First decrease in two months
- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 54,200 units (11.7 percent decrease); first decrease in two months
- 31.2 percent share of minivehicle market (1.1 percentage point increase)

Hino
- Sixth consecutive month of increase
- Standard truck sales totaled approximately 4,100 units (10.2 percent decrease); first decrease in six months
- 36.4 percent share of the truck(1) market (2.5 percentage point decrease)

Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino
- First decrease in two months
- 41.0 percent share of market including minivehicles (1.4 percentage point increase)

- Decreased, due to decreased exports to Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East and Africa

- Eighth consecutive month of increase; due to increased exports to Latin America, Asia and the Middle East
