Christienne Fallsview Spa Offers ManiCURES in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness
The Christienne Fallsview Spa is pleased to be participating in the Canadian Cancer Society's maniCURES campaign for the second year in a row in support of breast cancer awareness.
Niagara Falls, ON (PRWEB) September 30, 2015
The Canadian Cancer Society's maniCURES fundraising campaign asks teams of men to sign up, raise money, and have their nails painted pink at a participating salon or spa across Ontario in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Numerous schools, workplaces, salons, and spas will be involved in the campaign, and anyone looking to support the cause can choose pink nail polish or specially designed nail art at a participating location with the funds going towards breast cancer research funded by the Canadian Cancer Society.
The official launch of the campaign in the Niagara Region will take place on Oct. 1 at 11:30 a.m. at the Christienne Fallsview Spa inside the Sheraton on the Falls hotel. Pelham Mayor Dave Augustyn, Regional Council Member Sandy Annunziata, 2DayFM on-air personality Chris Barnett, Postmedia Regional Director of Media Sales Mark Cressman, and Canadian Cancer Society spokesperson and breast cancer survivor Angela Davey will be among the day's participants.
"The Canadian Cancer Society's maniCURES campaign is a wonderful initiative that supports breast cancer research, and we are very pleased to be involved by raising money and offering pink manicures to participants throughout the month of October," says Sarah Vazquez, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Falls Avenue Resort.
