La Botana Encourages Tucson to Donate Blood

The owner of La Botana is offering a $10 credit to patrons who donate blood during the month of September. The promotion will begin September 1st and end on the 15th.

Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) August 27, 2015

Patrons of La Botana Fresco Grill & Cantina who donate blood this month will be able to parlay that into savings with a $10 credit on their food bill. The restaurant will extend the credit during the second half of the month to all customers who can provide proof that they donated during the month of September this year.

La Botana is a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant located in Tucson. The owner, Arnoldo Silva not only prides himself on the business he runs, but also on his service as an Army veteran. It is his commitment to duty and helping others that prompted him to offer this incentive to encourage others to donate blood for the community.

The word "Botana' can mean either a quick bite, such as an appetizer or finger food, or it can mean a joke or general humor. Just as the restaurant's name has two sides, so does this September promotion. While patrons receive a credit for their food, they are also helping those in need and saving lives by donating blood. Arnoldo says, "Blood really does save lives, so if this incentive encourages even one extra person to donate, then it is well worth it."
