Lamps Plus Selects CBX Software for Product Development and Sourcing

CBX Software, the leader in Total Sourcing Management announced today that Lamps Plus, the largest lighting retailer in the United States, has selected the CBX platform to manage and streamline their product design, development and global sourcing operational processes.

The multiphase CBX implementation will initially focus on driving efficiency through product design and sourcing related processes between Lamps Plus' offices and their trading partners, reducing redundant data entry and improving visibility and reporting across their business. The first phase also includes integration of the CBX Vendor Portal, currently being rolled out to enable greater collaboration and electronically manage order and payment related processes for several hundred vendors.

The CBX implementation will ultimately support Lamps Plus in growing their revenue and profit across over 40 retail outlets, a thriving ecommerce platform and the retailer's wholesale business. CBX will support internal functions at Lamps Plus, including design, buying, quality, logistics and management, improving their ability to collaborate with their vendor base.
