American Seed & Oil Company Attracts Charlotte's Web Medical Marijuana Interest & Garners Over 1,000 Acres In Potential Commitments For Hemp Farming

DALLAS, TX / ACCESSWIRE / November 17, 2014 / Algae International Group, Inc. (ALGA), through its operating subsidiary American Seed & Oil Company, Inc., held an Organic Hemp Farming Event on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the VFW Post 1332 in Bennington, Vermont.

Response to the meeting included a Vermont mother that had relocated to Colorado to have her daughter suffering from Epilepsy treated through the Realm of Caring with the Charlotte's Web strain of Medical Marijuana. With the success her daughter enjoyed from Charlotte's Web treatment, the Vermont mother was inspired to become an activist for the exclusion of Cannabis Sativa rich in therapeutic Cannabidol (CBD) and low in psychoactive Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from the Controlled Substances Act. She is an advocate for H.R. 5226, a bill, if passed, that would be known as the "Charlotte's Web Medical Hemp Act of 2014".

1,000 Acres of Hemp Farms

American Seed & Oil Company was recognized in 2014 for growing the largest Hemp Crop in the State of Vermont. The Company has set a goal to plant 1,000 acres in 2015. A primary objective of the Hemp farming event on Saturday was to recruit land and farmers to achieve the 1,000 acre goal. The meeting succeeded in attracting more than 1,000 acres in potential hemp farming commitments.

The event on Saturday was the first of a series of events the American Seed & Oil Company plans to roll out across the United States focusing first on States and Districts where Medical Marijuana and Hemp cultivation has been made legal under local law.
