New Zealand Energy Receives Approval for Warrant Extension

Vancouver, British Columbia / ACCESSWIRE / October 10, 2014 / New Zealand Energy Corp. NZ NZERF (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange has approved the extension of the expiry date of 24,452,173 share purchase warrants.

The warrants were issued pursuant to a non-brokered private placement financing in November 2013. The expiry date of the warrants has now been extended from October 28, 2014 to 5:00 pm Vancouver time on October 28, 2015. The exercise price of the warrants remains unchanged.

Pursuant to TSX Venture Exchange policies, the Company was not permitted to amend warrants issued to finders in connection with the private placement.

Warrant holders are advised that replacement warrant certificates will not be issued, and that the original warrant certificates must be presented to the Company's transfer agent in order to effect the exercise of such warrants.
