Mr. Shai Levi joins the company.

Vidisco Ltd. has recently announced that Mr. Shai Levi will be starting as its new CEO for the Vidisco group. Mr. Levi brings with him vast experience in developing international business infrastructure and managing business companies in international markets with a strong point for homeland security.

Vidisco sells its products in over 75 countries around the globe, and believes that the new management can further develop its international activities. Vidisco's lightweight, rugged digital X-ray inspection equipment can be used in almost any environment or terrain and is offered for the Security, NDT and Veterinary fields.

For the security field, the portable digital X-ray security systems are used in a great variety of applications including EOD/IED, customs, border control VIP protection, forensics and more. In the NDT field, Vidisco's systems are also used for many purposes such as pipe inspections in the oil and gas industry. The equipment is also used in the shipyard, power and aerospace industries for weld inspections. Furthermore, today, digital X-ray is also used for examinations of artwork and archeological artifacts to determine authenticity and defects. In the veterinary field, portable digital X-ray is mostly used by veterinary professional who specialize in race horses and equine medicine.
