Urban Ag Corp Provides Update on Microwave Expansion Project and Wireless Mesh Networks

Awarded 5 New Microwave sites and 25 Tower Projects

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., Jan. 14, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Urban Ag Corp AQUM (the "Company"), announced today that Terra Asset Management, Inc. ("TAM"), an operating unit of its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenwire Enterprises, Inc., has now be awarded 5 additional microwave sites for the microwave expansion project for a tier one carrier in Michigan and Indiana and the work is to begin next week.

In addition, TAM has been awarded an additional 35 towers for the project through Vertical Innovations, LLC to decommission antenna towers for a tier one carrier along the border of Oklahoma and Texas. This is in addition to the 20 towers decommissioned in December.  

Green Wire Inc., an operating unit of its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenwire Enterprises, Inc., is in final negotiations with the City of Robstown, Texas to provide a citywide wireless network that would provide services to all city agencies and departments to include police and fire and maintenance departments.

Green Wire Inc. is also in negotiations with the City Olmos Park, Texas to provide a citywide wireless mesh network that would provide services to police and fire and maintenance departments.

Greenwire Enterprises' operating subsidiaries serve a wide customer base that includes telecom customers such as Verizon, Motorola, Alcatel-Lucent, Time Warner and general contractors serving national customers such as Wal-Mart, CVS and Gulf Marine.
