InvenSense™ Appoints Adam Tachner as New General Counsel

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

InvenSense, Inc. INVN, the leading provider of MotionTracking^™ system on chip devices, announced that Adam Tachner has been named vice president and general counsel. Tachner will be responsible for all legal matters and the Company's intellectual property and legal strategies worldwide. Tachner joins InvenSense from Qualcomm Inc. QCOM where he served as vice president and general counsel of its Qualcomm Atheros division since Qualcomm's acquisition of Atheros Communications, Inc. in May, 2011. Prior to that, he was vice president and general counsel of Atheros Communications ATHR. A registered patent attorney, Tachner began his legal career as an associate at the law firm Crosby Heafey Roach & May (now ReedSmith) from 1994-2000.

Tachner received a BA from UC Berkeley, BSEE from Cal State Fullerton, JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, and MBA degrees from both Columbia University and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
