ApartmentDistrict.com Closes New Partnership with Vacation Rentals Agencies in Europe

Share:

ApartmentDistrict.com was created a few months ago by David Vilaseca, a 38-year-old Spanish entrepreneur, with the aim of helping travelers find a condo that suits their needs and preferences without having to jump from site to site to get information and make online booking. New partnerships are being negotiated in July 2013 with leading European vacation rental websites.

Barcelona, Spain (PRWEB) July 15, 2013

Vacation rental is a lifestyle.

Having to choose between renting a vacation condo and booking a hotel is becoming more and more common these days. In fact, renting a condo abroad has become a great option for families looking for comfortable accommodations, couples seeking an intimate setting and friends getting away from the schedules and restrictions of a hotel. Besides helping tourists save money while traveling by allowing them to cook their meals “at home”, vacation rentals help users live abroad and experience the local lifestyle.

A large variety of apartments located in 32 European cities in just a few clicks

ApartmentDistrict.com compares different vacation rental agencies on the Internet and displays results on a single page. It works much like Booking.com but focuses specifically on the vacation apartment rentals industry. ApartmentDistrict.com currently offers vacation rentals in 32 European destinations including Barcelona, Paris, London, Berlin and Rome.

Rentals for all the budgets and preferences

During a search, ApartmentDistrict.com lets the user select preferences: number of days in a given city, number of guests staying at the condo, as well as number of rooms needed. The search results show you a wide variety of vacation rentals from different rental agencies that match your requirements. All rental listings come with photos, a map showing their location, a description of the condo's features and amenities and information about the area of the city where they are located.

Find accommodations and plan the rest of the trip

The website also has a travel blog, http://www.apartmentdistrict.com/blog with daily posts related to entertainment, culture, sport, tours, events or family activities at each of the 32 ApartmentDistrict.com destinations. Each post suggests something original and special to do during your time abroad so you can make every second of your vacation count.

The Partners

On June 15, 2013, ApartmentDistrict.com signed agreements with different companies within the travel industry, such as Only-Apartments, Interhome, and recently with ShBarcelona. They will be displayed in the ApartmentDistrict.com site in the following weeks, increasing the comparator's offer. Other similar partnerships are being negotiated in July 2013.

Franck Anaïs, vice-chairman of ShBarcelona, highlights the strategic importance of collaborating with ApartmentDistrict.com: “In 2012, the number of tourists visiting Barcelona increased by 7%. With a growing demand, the amount of apartments increased by 20% last year. This makes it difficult to get good occupancy rates for a single company, so having the possibility to add rentals to ApartmentDistrict.com let agencies optimize their visibility and products, while enabling them to enter in markets they can't reach by themselves. This is why ApartmentDistrict.com represents a very useful tool for the vacation rental agencies and allows them to maintain satisfactory occupancy rates.
