One Nevada Credit Union Releases 2012 Mobile Check Deposit Stats

One Nevada Credit Union logs over $11 million in mobile check deposits

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 16, 2013

Since launching mobile check deposit in May 2012, One Nevada Credit Union has processed over 28,000 checks, totaling more than $11 million. This new convenience allows members to deposit checks any time, any place by using their iPhone®, iPad® or Android™ device. The volume from the new mobile channel is comparable to One Nevada's busiest, full-function ATM in the Las Vegas Valley.

Over 9,000 members actively use One Nevada's banking application, which includes access to mobile check deposit. This rapid growth is attributed to members' adoption of the growing mobile, Las Vegas lifestyle and desire for more convenient banking options.

“More than ever, members are looking for more convenient ways to do their banking and our mobile check deposit is just one of the ways we are giving them the electronic services they want,” said Brad Beal, president/CEO. “While we knew mobile check deposit was greatly requested by the membership, we had no idea the adoption would be this high this fast. It's great!” Beal added.
