Little Boy's Adventure Begins at Bedtime in Vibrant Picture Book

Newark, NY (PRWEB) January 10, 2013

Author Bobby Boyd, in his newly published children's book, takes young readers to a place where anything could, would, and usually does happen. Beautifully illustrated, this picture book follows a young boy's adventures and misadventures in The Land of Dreams.

Ready to take a break from the real world for a bit, young Herman takes the Train of Nod at the Bedtime Station and gets the adventure of a lifetime. Along with his newly found friend, a teddy bear named Sleepy, Herman goes off to different lands and meets new friends. In one trip, he meets the Sandman himself, who answers a few of their questions regarding dreams, sleep and waking up.

Appealing to children's imagination and their sense of adventure, The Land of Dreams takes them to the Marshmallow Mansion, Castle of Stuffed Toys, Tummy Ache Heaven, and the Valley of Dim Light and Warm Squishies. It also introduces them to new creatures such as gigglers and reacquaints them to well loved characters such as the sandman.

With vibrantly colored pages, this book serves as the perfect tool parents can use to bond with their children during bedtime. For more fun, parents can also get a copy of this book's sequel, The Land of Dreams: The Adventures with Herman and Sleepy Continue.

This book will be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on November 7-10, 2012.
