Pastor Ed Young of Fellowship Church Celebrated with the community of Columbia and surrounding areas it's first Christmas experience, InstaChristmas, by featuring a live nativity scene on Christmas Eve.

Ed Young and Fellowship Church hosted a community-wide celebration at its new location on Broad River Road in Irmo, South Carolina. This year's theme, InstaChristmas, is based around the popular smartphone app, Instagram, and the idea that life can change in an instant.
“In today's social-media saturated world, everything we do and say is instantly available for the world to see. This Christmas at Fellowship Church, we're taking a look at the one moment—the one instant—that literally changed the world!” Pastor Young said.
This event happened on Sunday, December 23 at 11:00am as well as Christmas Eve at 5:00pm. Also occurring on Christmas Eve, the community had a special opportunity to take pictures with live animals and actors before the Christmas Service. The live nativity scene opened at 4:00pm at Fellowship Church.
“One of the most nostalgic parts of Christmas is the nativity scene. It's the place where Jesus was born. It's the scene we all picture when we think of Christmas. And this year at Fellowship, we're bringing that scene to life, literally!” Young says.
