This webinar will provide a primer on debriefings in Federal Procurement. More than a general overview, subject matter experts will identify “best practices” and provide helpful questions and answers that government contractor personnel might consider raising in debriefings.
For contractors, a debriefing is key to judging whether the evaluation process was fairly conducted, and if there is grounds for a bid protest. Debriefings convey the basis of the agency's evaluation and selection decision and assist offerors in improving future proposals.

Brad Jorgensen, associate in DLA Piper's Government Contracts practice group. He assists in providing counseling and litigation services to both large and small companies on a range of government contract matters at the federal, state, and local level, including the litigation of bid protests; Contract Disputes Act claims-related matters; general counseling; due diligence for mergers and acquisitions involving government contractors; counseling on intellectual property protection, domestic preference/country of origin and procurement fraud issues; and commercial litigation arising out of government contracts, including disputes between prime contractors and subcontractors
Sam Knowles, a member of DLA Piper's Government Contracts and Government Affairs groups. Mr. Knowles provides counseling and litigation services to both large and small companies on a range of government contract matters, including due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, subcontracting, contract bid and proposal review, and state and local government contract issues. His experience includes work on bid protests, regulatory compliance issues, trade secret litigation, and multiple award schedule contracting.
